Travel back in time to discover the interesting history of pizza and the story of Queen Margherita, then explore the wholesome ingredients that make it so special. From tomatoes and olive oil to flour and cheese, young chefs will see, smell, touch, and taste each ingredient while learning about the important nutritional value they bring to the table.
Chef Jeanette will also walk participants through the equipment used in pizza making, the mixing and fermentation process that brings dough to life, and the importance of kitchen safety and keeping a clean workspace.
